Mammoth are huge and hairy-like elephants of the past. They are valor creatures and would protect their own kind even at the expense of their lives. They have an enormous and sharp pair of tusks which can deliver a lethal blow to creatures which might be a threat for them. They can create havoc around the jungle and field because of their huge size. They can even raze their way through a thick forest if they have to. I would consider them as the most powerful prehistoric creatures of the past.
